I actually spent a fairly long time on this, because of the stupid snow...I could not for the life of me get this to really look how I wanted, so this is what I ended up with. I didn't feel too inspired with this one...my best is always with the images I really like, and then everything just seems to fit. Still, I think it turned out not too bad.

Black Horse Forum Set

Today on Subeta they released a new costume trunk with this awesome black horse in the set. I decided I wanted to make a forum set with the horse, but part of it was gone since its for an avatar. So, here is the before with the outline of the avatar:

Kitsune Themed

For the siggy you can just use all the colors of the kitsune furs and have my user name in the middle :3

I found all of them on SubetaHQ by just typing Kitsune, plus I bought them all xD So that should be ok for references.

Theme: Grunge would be great :3 Maybe Purple and Black colored?
What kind of theme would you want, like flowing, grungy, cutesy, etc. Do you want just a top and bottom, no signature? If you want a signature as well, I need more to work with than just those 2 pictures, lol.

On Subeta, they were looking for graphics/banners to use to advertise on other sites for. So these are the first things I made, the vertical banners. Also, they are one of my first animations created in Photoshop.

Piano-y Set

Here is my piano themed top bar for the forums. I think I need to flip the image upside down, to make those maroon bars on top instead of bottom...oh well, maybe I still will.

1) Dark/vampiric but still romantic and flowing
2) Mainly black and white, and grays or dark red if necessary
3) Perhaps a piano and a
4) I could watch you dance for hours
5) Really do whatever you want with this, I just want it to have a darkly romantic undertone to it. Think vampires xD The font can be a scary font or some sort of cursive script, I don't care.

Another rave set...

Another rave theme, this one with different requests, though. I hope they like it! Here's what they asked for, and then what I created:

1) Rave (sorta like the one you already did)
2) neon- orange/pink/green/turquoise/purple
3) Any of these items (use one or more depending on YOUR judgments):
-Candy Necklace
-Rainbow Aurora Necklace
-Any of the glowsticks
4) "Trippy" on the first & "Slave to the Rave" on the second
5) Transparent background if possible behind the design. Feel free to do as you wish, sharp edges and corners fading into a glow maybe. And laser light looking effect in electric green maybe? I don't care =D Have fun.

Urban Art

This theme was...not hard to make, but hard to make unique. They wanted a theme that I had already used brushes to in another set. So the hard part was being original. But I think they turned out pretty cool. :) The dog in the corner they drew, and wanted it implemented in their set.

This movie has some really cool looking scenes that are so colorful, which really can enrich whatever graphic your trying to make. This was a simple set, but I think it turned out rather well.

Digital Devil Saga

Another commission, this one based off of a DDS game, which I've never heard of before. They didn't request any animation in this one, but when I realized the characters can morph, I thought that would be a cool way to make a signature for the set.
Here is the set, along with their request:

1) What theme - Digital Devil Saga, preferably Gale or Serph based (maybe both) (Message me if you need information?)
2) Color scheme, if you have one in mind - I'd like grays, and perhaps some light blues/greens.
3) Images you would like me to imitate, use, etc, or anything you have as an example of what you'd like done - Sadly, none. I'd like one similar to the Med, Rave, or first one. Not big and blocky, but a slimmer bar with images. maybe not even a bar at all? I 'unno. Go crazy.
4) Any words you would like included - Rend, Slaughter, Devour your enemies.
5) Anything specific; for example if you hate the color pink, want no words at all, don't like a grunge look. - Not really. Uh.. I'd like a sort of grungy look. Like, sort of Post-Apocolyptic, you could say. Mechancial and dirty?

My first avatar commission, this was rather tricky. I have never made an avatar using PS3 before, so it took a little longer than if I had used Ulead. The problem is, this person wanted each letter to blink, and I knew of no option on Ulead that could do that.

I made the comment that they were good enough at drawing, they should be making their own forum sets, but they insisted they stunk at that kind of stuff, and cold only draw. Another person emailed me, asking for a set themed around coffee. They said that this set was for their anniversary, from when they met their boyfriend in a coffee shop. I thought it was cute :)
So, here it is, along with their commission form:

I completed it on Thursday...it seems like I made a lot of things today. I suppose I did, all though I have been thinking about Laura's blog for a while, so that one was fairly easy to complete. The hardest part is probably just thinking of something cute to do.

My sister Laura has been pestering me to make her a blogger layout ever since I made my other sisters one, so I finally got around to finishing it. She loves pink and the piano, so I combined both of those, added some flowers to make it more girly, and there you have it. I hope she likes it!

A simple request this time; they wanted a reddish-orange colored fox and only part of a forum set. There were such cute fox pictures, it was hard to pick which one to use. I finally based my decision off the words they wanted included.

And I couldn't help but think of You've Got Mail, with Tom Hanks, and how his "nephew" goes to the bookstore and keeps spelling "F-O-X. Fox." Heh.

My next commission was a themed one off of the movie Hercules. This person wanted a set based around Megara (aka Meg). This was a fun one to make, and I figured out how to rotate brushes around. Also posted with the request by the commissioner.

Rave

Well, to be honest, I didn't really know what "rave" meant...so I had to look it up. According to Wikipedia:

A rave (or rave party), is a term, in use since the 1980s, to describe dance parties (often all-night events) where DJs and other performers play electronic dance music, sometimes referred to as "rave music", with the accompaniment of laser light shows, projected images, and artificial fog. Rave parties are often, not always, associated with the use of "club drugs" such as ecstasy, cocaine, amphetamines and, more recently, ketamine, and 2C-B. In the late 1980s, the word "rave" was adopted to describe the subculture that grew out of the acid house movement.[1]

So, here is my forum set for a "rave" theme, with their request as posted.

1)Theme: Rave
2) Color Scheme: Bright random colors and pastels. Like Pink, orange, green, yellow, etc.
3) Images: Umm maybe some glowsticks and such.
4) Words: On the top: rave. On the bottom: ...HARD
5) Anything specific: Nope. Anything goes!

Note: You should know this was a commission set; I didn't pick the theme, or the words, someone else did. :)

Viva la Vida

On this site called Subeta, I was browsing their forums, and I saw someone requesting a custom made forum set. So I figured, what the heck, I might as well offer on that job, and they just might pick me.
Turns out they liked the stuff I showed them, so they chose me to make their forum set! They wanted a set that used the image from the cover of Coldplay's Viva la Vida. On Subeta, they look better because the background there is white.
Here they are, and their request as posted:

I'm in love with this song. Viva La Vida. By Coldplay. It's just hawt ;O
And I love the cover of their new album (also Viva La Vida) So I'd like the forumset to use this image: x for the forumset. And I'd like it to have the words "for some reason I can't explain/I know Saint Peter won't call my name"
or, if you want, "There was never an honest word/ but that was when I ruled the world".

And thin strips please I can only be on Thursdays and Fridays till 5pm, and VERY VERY early weekend mornings if I wake up early. So when it's done, just smail it to me.

Galactic Blog

My next blog creation! My other sister also wanted a custom blog (of course, right?). She is an avid photo taker, and just recently bought a new Canon G9 something or other, so I figured I should hurry and make hers so she has something nice looking to post new pictures on. This sister also really likes outer space, nebula's, stars, astronomy, etc, so I made this one themed off of those things.

All of the stars, nebula, were made using brushes in Adobe Photoshop CS.

The first blog I designed for someone was my sister. She wanted a blog that focused around her pictures and trips, so every picture used in her blog was something she had taken from her digital camera.

Welcome to my blog! You probably found this because you looked at someone's blog who had a layout edited/designed by me. Thanks for being curious enough to find out more about my blog designs :)

Right now, I'm only making custom blogger layouts for people who are friends or family. You can feel free to request, but chances are I will not be making any customs for others I do not know.

However, occasionally I will be making blogs for others to use that are generic, so check back often. When I get bored with a layout I currently use, I tend to retire it into the public, so if you like one I'm using don't forget to come back and grab it for yourself when I retire it.

I appreciate all comments, even if they are to say you like so-and-so's blog I made. Constructive criticism, please, or your comment will be deleted.

Smilie Forum Set

My friend asked me to make her a forum set, since she didn't have one and it looked boring. So, this is one of my first attempts at forum sets. I think she likes it, all though I can do a much better one now. I made this one in Paint Shop Pro 9, a very VERY annoying program to use.
